LLDT FAQ
What programs do you offer at Little League Dog Training? We currently offer Arkansas Board and Train. You have the choice of a 4 Week or 6 Week. The 4 Weeks B&T covers On Leash Obedience while the 6 Week has the addition of Off Leash Obedience. We also offer Virtual Training via Zoom.
Is food included in the program or do I have to provide my own? Yes, food is included! Your dog will be fed high-quality Royal Canin during training, so there is no need to bring your own food unless your dog has specific dietary needs. If they do have special requirements just send their food with them and we will make sure they are taken care of!
What is the difference between the 4 Week and 6 Week Program? The 4 Weeks B&T covers On Leash Obedience while the 6 Week has the addition of Off Leash Obedience.
What if my dog needs more training time? Our standard programs run for 4 or 6 weeks, but we strive for results, not timelines. If your dog needs a bit more time to become its best, we will extend the training at no extra charge.
How does payment work for training? A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your start date. 50% of the balance is due when you drop off your dog, and the final 50% when training is complete. We provide 24 hours to sign the contract and make the deposit to secure your spot-with no pressure from us if you decide to change your mind. We also offer discounts for law enforcement officers and veterans, and financing is available through Affirm.
Do you do payment plans? Financing is available through Affirm.
Do We Have to Use the E-Collar? Yes, and here’s why: trying to train your dog without an e-collar is like driving a car without a steering wheel. The e-collar is a crucial tool that ensures your dog’s obedience is reliable, even without treats. The more we use it in training, the less you’ll need it in real life.
Can I Visit My Puppy During Training? We generally discourage visits (other than the Week 4 Check-In and end-of-training session) as they can disrupt your puppy’s progress. However, you’ll get regular photo and video updates so you won’t miss a thing. If you’re set on visiting, we won’t stop you—just know it can set your pup back a bit.
Do You Offer Shorter Programs? Nope, because we don’t believe in shortcuts. Our minimum program length is 4 weeks because that’s what it takes to produce real, lasting results. Anything less is a disservice to both you and your dog.
What If My Pup Has a Medical Emergency? Aaron works closely with trusted local vets to ensure the best care if your dog needs medical attention. We’ll keep you in the loop and consult with you on the best action plan to ensure your dog is in great hands.
What are the dog's living conditions? Your dog lives at home with Aaron. They’ll be a part of the family, interacting with everyone. Each dog will have two official training sessions per day during meal times, but of course, every moment is a training opportunity.
At what age can I send my dog for training? The sweet spot is around 4-6 months old, but we can start as early as 8 weeks. The earlier we start, the better the results. We also handle all vaccinations and vet visits if your pup isn’t fully vaccinated.
Is There a Lifetime Guarantee? Absolutely! We stand by our training with a lifetime guarantee. The goal is to arm you with all the tools you need to keep your dog on track. We’re committed to making sure your investment lasts for the long haul.
What items are owners required to purchase? When your dog finishes the program everything will be provided to you—including professional-grade custom-fit flat and prong collars, an E-collar, a leash, and more!
